June 19th at 9 a.m. Father's Day Carpentry Crew.
Spend an exciting morning with your son or daughter! Take a tour of the Historic Waterhouse Residence Museum at Lake Lily Park in Maitland. Plus, learn about William Waterhouse and his life as a carpenter in the 1880s. Children will then build a birdhouse in the Carpentry Shop Museum with help from their father (and staff), that they can take home with them (and maybe give to their father as a gift!) Cost is $15 for a father/child pair, and $10 for each additional child. Ages 7-12. Call 407-539-2181 for information.

July 16th "Maitland's Founding Families" temporary exhibition opens in We Make History community gallery at Maitland Historical Museum.

Opening reception July 16th from 5:30-7 p.m. Free for members, $5 for non-members
